It is actually quite simple to get an internship when compared to the stigma around it.

All it takes is a good resume and constantly applying to many internships without excuses or disappointments.

Most people around me are just scared of applying because they feel like they don't know anything. But what's the harm in trying? Just try it out. What's the worst that could happen? You get rejected? So what? That's just one company out of millions of such companies. So, keep applying.

So how to make a good resume? Only thing interviewers care about with respect to internships is projects. These projects should be unique and large enough to be impressive. It doesn't have to be too complicated at all.
